# How to enable collateral?

1.View My Deposits, the Use as Collateral toggle is off by default. You can click to turn it on.

2.After the toggle is clicked on, a confirmation box will pop up. Click to confirm.

3.Please click on the "Accept" button in the TronLink Request Signature pop-up window to confirm turning on.

4.After confirmation, you will be notified that the transaction has been sent. You will see in My Supply  that the Use as Collateral toggle is now on.
